I don’t think it’s really sunk it yet, the whole me being in Miami and such. Yesterday I was freezing and writing papers in Michigan and now I’m in Miami on the beach watching people walk around without tops on. I feel like I’m in a music video. Nobody here really seems to have anything to do except sit around on the beach, relocate to the pool and then turn over so their back can get an even golden glow.

For those who don’t know I won Runway Rivalry last summer, a contest in Ohio where models face off on the catwalk in efforts to win an all expense paid trip to Miami to meet with agencies along with a photo shoot. After what seems like a very long seven months of anticipation I’m finally here and ready to show Miami and the fashion world what I got!

Today’s plans consist of meeting with the photographer before tomorrow’s shoot to pick out our outfits and create looks for our portfolios. After that a long nap, then exploring Miami’s nightlife with some other models on the trip.
I’ll try and bottle up some Miami sun and sand to bring back to all my beloved Michiganders.

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s post!
