Miami Model Update

A pril 16, 2011

So what have I realized about modeling so far? You spend a lot of time waiting. But while you’re waiting good-looking people often help keep you entertained you while you wait.

I got up at 8:00 this morning to begin shooting for our photo shoot, which consisted of three different looks. We didn’t finish shooting till 5pm. It was such a long day. We began shooting in the surround areas of our hotel (which was rather ritzy if I don’t say so myself) and because of us shooting in public all of its patrons just spent their time staring at you while you parade around in five-inch heels and a feather cape. The photographer was rather excited about my eccentric outfits and accessories and I knew there was a reason why I thought a feather cape would be a brilliant purchase this past summer.

I was afraid that once we began shooting I’d get terribly nervous and freeze up, thankfully once the photographer started shooting I instantly felt comfortable. This is what I was destined to do! While shooting onlookers would pull out their cameras and start taking photos of us. They probably thought I was someone famous and it certainly made me feel as though I was.

After the shoot was through I felt like a superstar and couldn’t wait till I could see the end results for our portfolios tomorrow. Along with feeling cool I also felt extremely exhausted. Nap time called and I passed out in complete bliss. Day two in Miami was a success!
